Your role in the story:
The Trainingdesk is one of the centers of expertise within the Human Resources Department. Together with management, the team ensures that employees have access to personal and professional development opportunities, while also coordinating mandatory safety and functional training.
You are responsible for the smooth handling of administrative processes and the planning and coordination of a wide range of training activities, from maritime and offshore safety courses to personal development programs.
What you will be working on:
- In a dynamic work environment you are scheduling training for our Crew and office personnel
- Planning, scheduling, and inviting is done via our Learning Management System, in close contact with employees and the various Departments within Heerema
- You will gain expertise on Seafarers law, Offshore and Project related requirements, Functional and technical Training, Personal Development Programs, Group training and much more.
- We are acting as the first point of contact for questions related to training and development
- Administration and training systems need to be updated accurately
- Logistics such as travel arrangements and hotel accommodation for participants are being arranged by you
Key ingredients for success:
- MBO or HBO level of working and thinking;
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Accurate, conscientious, service‑oriented, and proactive working style
- Enthusiastic team player who enjoys collaboration
- Comfortable handling high workloads and complex planning challenges
- Able to work with confidential information in a discreet manner
- Experience or quick learner of relevant administrative software
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
