What you will be working on

  • Interface with multiple levels throughout the organization,  

  • Provide guidance and solutions to HSE-related aspects and challenges across various departments and project teams  

  • Support projects throughout the entire project lifecycle, from tender to offshore execution.  

  • Be a driving force of our Dare to Care mindset, HSE principles and focus on continual improvement of HSE systems, processes and reporting.

Here is what it takes to be a real Heerema colleague 

  • The role is based in either London or Leiden. Applicants should reside within commuting distance of one of these locations 

  • 32 to 40 hours availability, per week 

  • 7 - 10 years’ experience as a HSE advisor preferably in the (Oil & Gas) Maritime or Offshore Construction industry with BSc HSE Qualification HVK / IVK / NEBOSH Diploma / Certificate or equivalent. 

  • Experience with working in an (offshore) project environment is preferred. 

  • Other relevant (Q)HSE education is a plus, e.g. audit qualification, Risk management Incident Investigation skills etc. 

  • Relevant valid offshore training is a plus (incl. BOSIET, HUET, GWO). 

  • Previous experience coaching / mentoring Jr. colleagues 

  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
