We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to connect strategy with execution and drive value across our projects.
Your role in the story
You bring supply chain management best practices into Heerema’s core business processes, from tendering to execution to project close out. By strategic management of the project supply chain you will ensure best commercial and operational value for projects.
Based in Leiden, you work closely with commercial, procurement, engineering, project management and operational teams, championing efficiency, cost control and continuous improvement.
You will shape tender supply chain strategies and keep the project supply chain running like clockwork. You safeguard schedule, cost and quality while leveraging supplier partnerships and driving innovation across the supply chain. You maintain lessons learnt and provide input to cost databases.
What you will be working on
- Embed supply chain management in tenders and projects through cross discipline collaboration
- Manage the performance and cost of the supply chain to ensure cost efficient on schedule quality deliveries to on- and offshore sites.
- Lead the tender and project supply-chain teams, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks; prepare contingency plans.
- Track and report KPIs, taking corrective action to keep targets on course.
Key ingredients for success:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in business administration, engineering or project management.
- 10 + years in an international project, procurement and tendering environment.
- Demonstrated success in project management and designing and rolling out supply-chain strategies.
- Fluency in English, plus proficiency with ERP and SCM software.
- Up-to-date knowledge of offshore energy industry best practices and emerging trends.
