As a Senior Automation Engineer you will be the driving force behind this digital evolution. You operate at the intersection of complex Engineering and robust ICT, bridging the gap between two worlds.
You understand that innovation doesn't happen in a 100-page design document. It happens by building. You create valuable MVPs, learn rapidly from real-world usage, and evolve those insights into a modular, future-proof ecosystem. You ensure our digital landscape is decoupled, scalable, and ready for whatever the future holds.
You are the flywheel of engineering automation. While you build high-impact tools in the digital enablement team, you also empower the engineers that write code, providing shoulders to stand on, ensuring our engineers have the tools to create huge impact by automating their work.
What you will be working on
- Design & Implementation: Leading the development of automation tools from concept to deployment, turning ideas into robust real world solutions.
- Shaping the future : Building high-level Python frameworks that keep us agile. You create modular structures that allow us to scale without getting stuck in legacy code.
- The Flywheel Effect: Guiding and supporting a team of engineers and citizen developers. fostering a culture of innovation and code quality so the entire, department moves faster.
- Pure Logic: Breaking down complex physics or logistical problems into clean, atomic functions that address, high-impact engineering pain points.
- Smart Design: Creating strict, stateless input/output tools , that can be easily reused in across multiple workflows.
Key ingredients for success
- Education: A Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a heart for engineering.
- Coding Mastery: Deep expertise in Python (building packages/frameworks). Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Engineering Affinity: You enjoy the challenge of automating physical concepts.
- Future-Ready Skills: Familiarity with concepts like RAG or Knowledge Graphs is a plus, as we use these to structure our engineering expertise.
- Builder Energy: You thrive on creating tools that didn't exist yesterday.

- Fluency in English: Both written and spoken.
