Your role in the story

As Program Manager Dare to Care, Heerema’s global safety culture program, you step into a highly visible, full time role at the heart of our safety mindset. You are the driving force behind Dare to Care, strengthening safety leadership, behaviour and ownership across vessels, yards and offices worldwide.
This role is designed for experienced HSE professionals or high potential profiles who want to broaden their strategic influence, operate at enterprise level, and prepare for future (HSE) leadership roles. Working closely with senior management, you help translate safety ambition into daily practice and visible leadership.

What you will be working on

  • Leading and continuously evolving the Dare to Care program as a core pillar of Heerema’s safety strategy
  • Translating safety vision into observable behavior across offshore and onshore environments
  • Turning insights, feedback and data into measurable safety culture improvements
  • Designing and running global campaigns that create momentum, engagement and shared ownership
  • Coordinating cross functional Dare to Care improvement workgroups
  • Structuring, coordinating and improving Dare to Care trainings and refreshers
  • Building, coaching and energizing the Dare to Care facilitator community, enabling peer learning and consistency
  • Reporting program impact, learnings and recommendations to the Senior Management Team
  • Enabling leaders to role model visible safety leadership and confidently apply Stop the Work authority
  • Collaborating with industry peers, external specialists and clients to shape the future direction of Dare to Care

You will be supported by the Manager HSE and experienced specialists while working closely with senior stakeholders in an international setting.

 

  • A solid HSE foundation or high potential profile with experience in safety culture, behavioural change or leadership development within complex, high risk operations
  • Knowledge of behavioural change principles, such as safety leadership, habit formation, peer to peer feedback and nudging
  • Strong influencing skills without formal authority, credible with offshore crews and confident with senior leaders
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills, comfortable both on deck and in the boardroom
  • A structured, reflective and improvement driven mindset, thriving in a multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore

You will work closely with the, VP QHSE, Manager HSE, Heerema leaders, Dare to Care facilitators, and colleagues across Heerema vessels, yards and offices worldwide.
