The Human Resources department supports the organization being a global marine contractor for the offshore industry. Specifically, to ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time. The Compensation and Benefits team is currently looking for a Compensation & Benefits Officer. The team consist of a Lead C&B and a Senior Specialist C&B.
Your role in the story
As a Compensation and Benefits Officer, you will play a key role across several critical areas of Human Resources. Your responsibilities will include:

Global mobility, supporting and coordinating the international relocation and assignment of employees;

HR policies, rules, and regulations, ensuring compliance and contributing to the development and implementation of internal frameworks;

Compensation and reward, designing and managing competitive and equitable salary structures;
-
Employee benefits, overseeing programs such as pensions, insurance, and other perks that enhance employee well-being;
-
Annual company agreements and union relations, participating in negotiations and maintaining constructive dialogue with employee representatives.
In this role, you contribute directly to attracting, retaining, and motivating talent, while aligning compensation strategies with organizational goals and legal requirements.
What you will be working on

Execute the (global) annual salary review and variable pay process;

Execute all international expat assignments and the process;

Prepare data and proposals with regards to negotiations with Works Council and Unions;

Work together with the team on handling demands from daily business, support/provide data, reporting etc.;

Interpretation of changes in requirements and or regulations;
-
Maintaining and developing competitive and clear worldwide HR policies incl. related calculations;

The execution of expat policy and the coordination of efficient expat assignment processes;

Assist HR with competitive compensation & benefit packages;

Yearly salary benchmarks, annual salary adjustments (worldwide), job evaluation rounds, expat handling, handling demands from daily business, and so on.

Furthermore, you have

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Compensation & Benefits;
-
Higher Vocational / Bachelor degree, preferable, HR, Labor or Fiscal law or business administration;
-
General knowledge of (international) payroll;
-
Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
-
An independent work approach combined with operational excellence;
-
Excellent knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
