Would you like to work in a dynamic technology environment, leading a team that shapes our designs and creates clear visual instructions for offshore crews and fabrication teams?
Your role in the story
As Lead of the Drawing Team, part of the Simulation & Visualization Department, you act as the connecting link between complex offshore engineering and the people who bring our designs to life at sea. Within our department, you support the organization by delivering a wide range of visual products. This includes technical drawings that form the foundation for fabrication packages and offshore installation manuals. To make procedures even clearer, we also create visual animations. And to complete the picture, employees can experience offshore operations firsthand in our state-of-the-art simulation center. Draughtsmen, visual designers, and simulation engineers work closely together to provide an integrated service, ensuring that project teams know exactly what to do and that every operation is carried out safely and efficiently.
Recently, the drawing and visualization teams were merged into a single dynamic department. You will have the opportunity to lead the Drawing Team and help shape the new department: streamlining processes, implementing standards, and ensuring that each project team receives the right visual product at the right time. With your CAD expertise and leadership, you ensure that technical drawings are not only accurate but also make a real impact on the success of offshore operations. In this role, you make a difference from concept to execution, and you see firsthand how your team contributes to safe and efficient offshore projects worldwide.

- Translate organizational strategy into clear team objectives, processes, and long-term discipline development.
- Advise internal clients on the most effective visual product for each purpose.
- Set up, manage, and continuously improve the intake process for drawing requests, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and transparency.
- Define and maintain standards, including centralized intake, modeling guidelines, naming and numbering conventions, and seamless digital exchange between CAD and non-CAD tools.
- Align the team with engineering and work preparation processes, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and timely deliverables.
- Monitor team capacity and workload, and proactively anticipate future demand.
- Manage subcontracted visualization capacity when required, safeguarding quality, standards, and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement by developing work instructions, maintaining HMC equipment and asset databases, and implementing best practices and new tools.
