Your role in the story
As a Jr Structural Engineer, you will provide structural support for product development, studies, tenders and projects. You will support project teams across all Product Lines; Decommissioning; Transport and Installation; and Wind.
Your tasks and responsibilities include the following:
- Perform concept and detail design of offshore fit for purpose lifting arrangements and steel structures, such as lifting appliances, lift points, lift arrangements and grillage and seafastening;
- Perform structural strength verification analyses, including non-linear Finite Element Analysis by use of software packages such as SACS and ABAQUS;
- Familiarize yourself with discipline related work processes, guidelines and standards.
Who will you work with?
As a Jr Structural Engineer, you will work in the Structural Engineering team for the Product Line Decomissioning, at our offices in London.

You have an awareness of the various aspects of the work, which will have a direct impact on the managers and decision makers within the organisation. Furthermore, you will have:
- A Bachelor and/or Masters degree Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; or equivalent
- Some experience in engineering, project preparation and execution of offshore projects;
- Basic knowledge of structural and mechanical engineering;
- Analytical, practical and pragmatic skills;
- Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- The ambition to work (temporarily) at yards, offshore on our vessels or in our offices.
- Must already be eligible to live and work in the United Kingdom.
